SURAKSHA HOSE EMPANELMENT PROCESS
Requirements for Enlistment & Obtaining Suraksha Trade Mark License for LPG Hose by the LPG Hose Manufacturers
The LPG hose manufacturers have to submit the following document copies in latest / updated to LERC for becoming enlisted and obtaining“Suraksha Trade Mark Licence”
1. Written confirmation /recommendation from the head office of any one of the three OMC’s (IOCL/ BPCL / HPCL) three letter or mail forwarding the interest of party for becoming LPG hose vendor.
2. LPG hose manufacturer have to submit the following documents to LERC, Bangalore directly or thru’ OMC’s .
a) Memorandum & Article of association/details of MOU or partnership deed of the firm (as applicable)
b) Registration certificate under company’s act/small scale industries /DGTD .
c) Organisation structure of the company with name & other details (like range of products, turn over, capacity of unit, power availability , bankers and registered office address) etc
d) GST registration certificate
e) Balance sheet/income tax return for the Last 03 financial Years.
f) Copy of resolution from Board / firm authorizing to act /sign on behalf of the company to liase official correspondence & execute agreements etc with LERC .
g) BIS certification Marks license endorsing the LPG hose product (IS: 9573-2017, Part 2).
h) Factory license & Local statutory body Approvals (pollution, fire & safety board / competent authority approvals for the hose manufacturing unit)
i) Facilities Layout
j) Minimum Process area requirement – 16500 sq. ft for the manufacture of the hose
k) Quality control organisational set up and quality assurance plan. (including % composition details of rubber compounding for Lining and Cover in the hose manufacturing)
l) List/details of plant unit machinery and test equipment along with raw material & its vendors.
3. LERC application format will be given to the party on completion / submission of the points mentioned in point no.2 and the application is to be filled, signed & submitted to LERC
4. Preliminary inspection of vendor manufacturing unit will be done by team of LERC & OMC officials .
5. Detail inspection of the hose manufacturing unit will be done by third party.
6. LPG hose sample will be collected from the latest production & evaluated at LERC as per IS: 9573-2017, Part 2 & LERC specs.
7. LERC will intimate to the party to enter into agreement after compliance of points mentioned from 3 to 6.
8. Vendor has to pay license fee of Rs.2,00,000/- + GST to LERC towards granting of “Suraksha Trade Mark License”
9. Signing of Suraksha hose Licence agreement with LERC .
10. Now the party may approach the OMC’s for entering into marketing agreement. LERC will not guarantee the business.
Time lines :
On completion of setting up of facilities & obtaining Statutory Licenses, the time from date of submitting application to LERC till completion of Suraksha Hose approval (Granting of Suraksha LPG hose trade mark license) will be about 15 working days for LERC.
